Amali Smith and her Wilberforce University Women’s Basketball teammates are now 2 & 5 on the season following their 79 - 71 defeat at the hands of Point Park in NAIA Women's Basketball action.
Wilberforce was behind by 10 points in the first quarter, in the second quarter Wilberforce closed the gap to 8 when they scored 18 points and only allowed their opponents to score 16 points as Smith and her teammates went to the break down 37 - 29.
Wilberforce outscored their opponents 18 - 13 in the third quarter, but they were outscored 14 - 6 in the fourth quarter.
Smith did not score during her 7 minutes of action, going 0 for 2 from the Field, she did manage to grab a Rebound.
