2012 Olympian Jenaya Wade-Fray and her Brixton Topcats teammates went down on the opening weekend of the 2nd Women's British Basketball League Season.
Wade-Fray who brings her veteran know-how to the team could not prevent them from going down 64 – 41 to Team Northumbria.
Northumbria look to have huge depth and wore down Brixton Topcats thanks mainly to the power in the paint of Fiona O'Dwyer and Diana Voynova, who each amassed double-doubles.
