Jenaya Wade Fray scored 16 points to lead the Brixton Topcats, but she could not prevent them from going down 72 – 61 to Northumbria in Women’s British Basketball League action.
Wade-Fray played 29 minutes, going 1 for 5 from the Field, 4 for 11 from behind the Three Point Line and 2 for 2 from the Free Throw Line for her 16 points.
Wade-Fray had 2 Rebounds, 1 Assist and 1 Steal.
Third-placed Northumbria held the lead for most of the game, but broke away for good only in the final period. Kayla Mobley and Teresa Manigrasso led all scorers with 22 points apiece for the winners.
