The CellOne Island Basketball League continued inside the Somersfield Academy Gymnasium with a Men’s Double-Header.
A total of 66 points was scored in the opener as Fly Boys United defeated the Hoop Stars 36 – 30. Akil Smith scored a game high 9 points for the Fly Boys, while Junior Warner scored 6 points for the Hoop Stars.
In the night cap, the unbeaten Thunder Cats defeated the Twisters 50 - 49. Chris Crumpler led the Thunder Cats to victory with a game high 18 points, while Kevin Stephens scored 17 points for the Twisters.
