Sullivan Phillips scored 5 points as he and his APOEL teammates went down by five points in the Cyprus National Basketball Super Cup.
APOEL jumped out to an 17 – 5 first quarter lead, but AEL came storming back to outscore them 31 – 19 in the second as the two teams went to the break even at 36.
In the third quarter AEL scored twenty-three points to APOEL’s 18 to take a 59 – 54 lead into the final period, a close final period saw both teams only score 11 points each as AEL went on to win 70 – 65.
