Bermuda's Under-15s capped off a memorable week in Azerbaijan by clinching the FIFA U-15 World Cup and Festival Tier D title with a commanding 2-0 victory over Jordan.
First-half strikes from Adam Barritt and De'Ari Trott sealed the silverware on Pitch 10A at the Hovsan Competition Complex, bringing a triumphant conclusion to the squad's global festival campaign in Baku.
After a tense, evenly matched opening half in which both sides traded cautious phases of possession, the young Gombey Warriors seized control following the restart.
The breakthrough arrived courtesy of Barritt, who clinically broke the deadlock to hand Bermuda a deserved lead and unsettle their Middle Eastern opponents.
Jordan pushed forward in search of an immediate response, but Bermuda remained disciplined at the back before striking decisively on the break. Trott delivered the killer blow, finishing smartly past the Jordanian goalkeeper to double the advantage and trigger jubilant scenes on the touchline.
Bermuda managed the closing stages with composure, keeping a clean sheet intact against late pressure to lift the Tier D trophy and sign off from the week-long development tournament in style.
