Road runners and walkers across Bermuda are finalising their preparations ahead of Sunday's InEvo Re 10K Run and 5K Walk, with government officials issuing traffic advice ahead of the morning fixture.
The Ministry of Public Works and Environment confirmed the community road race will get under way at 08:00 on Sunday, November 1st, concluding by 09:30.
Participants will set off near the junction of Dundonald Street and Cedar Avenue, heading north through Marsh Folly Road, Palmetto Road, Dock Hill, North Shore Road, and Black Watch Pass.
Competitors in the 10K division will extend their course along Spanish Point Road before looping back towards the finish line situated adjacent to the Masters Home Centre parking area on Dundonald Street.
Officials confirmed that while no full road closures will be implemented, motorists should anticipate a visible presence of police officers and race marshals coordinating traffic movements along the route.
Drivers are urged to exercise vigilance, adhere to trackside instructions, and yield right of way to athletes during the ninety-minute window.
