Thomas College delivered a clinical display of attacking football to dismantle the VTSU Johnson Badgers 7-0 on home soil.
Supported by influential showings from Bermuda contingent Tre Burgess, Cody Robinson, Justin Sukdeo, Chance Eve, and T’syi Showers, the Terriers took complete control from the opening whistle to produce an emphatic victory.
The hosts dictated the tempo early on, pinning the Badgers inside their own half before Kevin Segura broke the deadlock in the 12th minute with a fine individual effort.
Just 14 minutes later, Segura doubled his tally. A fluid exchange between Ivarsson and playmaker Jeremiah Gomez unlocked the visitors' backline, leaving Segura with a straightforward finish to make it 2-0.
Thomas College maintained relentless pressure, forcing a string of stops from the Badgers goalkeeper before Chance Eve extended the lead in the 30th minute, rising highest to power home an Andrew Hodgins corner.
The visitors briefly threatened to halve the deficit before the interval, but Terriers goalkeeper Jamie Fischer produced three sharp saves in the closing minutes of the half to keep his clean sheet intact.
Any hopes of a second-half response from the Badgers were dashed within four minutes of the restart. Ivarsson produced a sharp solo run and finish in the 47th minute, before Zayin Clugh picked him out two minutes later to slot home his second and the Terriers' fifth.
Gomez picked up his second assist just before the hour mark, delivering an incisive pass for Cody Robinson to open his account in the 57th minute.
Brewer Osteen capped a commanding afternoon in the closing stages, sweeping home the seventh to put the final polish on a one-sided contest.
