Breidablik Overpower Hafnarfjörður in Championship Thriller

Bermuda forward Nia Christopher and her FH Hafnarfjörður side suffered a bruising 6-2 defeat away to Breidablik in the Besta deild kvenna Championship round.
Breidablik produced a clinical attacking performance on home turf, capitalising on defensive lapses to take control of an open and high-scoring affair.
Despite Hafnarfjörður battling to find a foothold going forward and pulling two goals back, the hosts proved too potent in the final third, finding the net six times to seal an emphatic victory.
For Christopher—who has been in fine goalscoring form throughout FH's domestic campaign—the result proved a frustrating outing on the road as Hafnarfjörður look to regroup heading into their next championship round fixture.
