Bermudian defender Harry Twite helped Basford United claim an impressive 3-1 victory on the road against Coventry United at the Nick Newbold Stadium.
The Ambers produced an assured display in the West Midlands, controlling key periods of the contest and proving clinical in the final third to ensure they returned home with all three points.
Twite and the Basford backline were made to weather early pressure from the hosts, but an organised defensive showing laid the platform for the visitors to take charge.
Basford broke through with sharp attacking play, finding the net three times to put daylight between themselves and their hosts. While Coventry United managed to claw back a goal to deny the visitors a clean sheet, Basford held firm under late pressure to comfortably see out the result.
The victory provides another positive outing for the young Bermudian international, who continues to gain vital minutes and experience in the heart of the Basford defence.
