Bermuda maintained fourth position in the ICC Americas region following the latest official team rankings released on Thursday, trailing regional powerhouses West Indies, the United States, and Canada.
The update, published by World of Americas Cricket (W.A.C) in accordance with the International Cricket Council standings as of October 15th 2026, reinforces Bermuda’s status among the continent's leading Associate nations while underscoring the ground required to close the gap on the top tier.
Globally, the West Indies continue to spearhead the regional contingent from seventh in the world standings. The two-time T20 world champions remain the Americas' standard-bearers on the global stage, operating comfortably clear of their continental neighbours.
The United States occupy second spot in the regional pecking order, sitting 13th in the world. Their standing reflects sustained momentum on the international circuit following significant competitive investment across North American cricket over recent cycles.
Canada follow in third regionally, holding 20th in the global table, while Bermuda solidify fourth spot in the Americas and 32nd in the world.
For Bermuda, holding 32nd globally keeps them ahead of regional rivals such as the Cayman Islands and Argentina, but clear daylight remains between the island and the automatic qualification spots occupied by the North American duo ahead of them.
With the ICC Americas pathway continually evolving to expand competitive cricket across the hemisphere, Bermuda’s focus turns to upcoming regional fixtures as they bid to turn promising individual performances into ranking points and close the margin on the top three.
