Bermuda’s martial artists continued their commanding campaign in Argentina, adding a further sweep of gold, silver, and bronze honours across the 5th Pan American Kung Fu Championships and the 15th Pan American Wushu Championships.
Building on their opening successes, the island’s squad demonstrated precision and power against elite continental opposition to keep the medal tally rolling.
The standout performance of the session came in the choreographed arena, where the formidable tandem of Garon Wilkinson and Kaelin Cox struck gold. Delivering a sharp, synchronised display in the Two-Person Fighting Set, the duo wowed the judges to capture the top step of the podium.
There was further golden joy for Bermuda through Jashae Allen-LaMontagne in Group D (18-39) - Other Northern Style Form, who produced another clinic on the mats to secure an individual gold medal and underline their status as a dominant regional force.
Wilkinson was back in the thick of the action in the individual divisions, showcasing veteran skill in Group E (40–59) Flexible Weapon. Facing a fiercely contested field, he secured a well-earned silver medal to add to his fighting-set triumph.
The medal collection was completed by Talia Fox, who produced a poised, controlled routine in the Group E (40–59) Taiji Open Hand category to claim a hard-fought bronze.
The sustained run of podium finishes caps another stellar day for Bermuda’s contingent, cementing their growing reputation on the Pan American martial arts stage.
