Bermudian forward Jahni Simmons helped Future Pro Academy maintain their fine start to the season with a commanding 3-1 win over Thomas Telford in the Women's English Colleges Football Association (ECFA) Premier League.
A tight, combative opening 45 minutes saw both sides enter the interval deadlocked after cancelling each other out across the pitch.
However, Future Pro stepped through the gears immediately after the restart. Heightening their tempo and dominating possession in the middle third, the academy side broke down Thomas Telford's defensive block to take control of the contest.
Their clinical second-half display produced three decisive goals, turning a tense standoff into a well-managed victory on the road.
