Bermuda golfer Dylan Muso displayed fine resilience through challenging conditions to secure a share of 10th place at The Northeast Elite in Pennsylvania.
Inclement weather played havoc with the opening day of the tournament at Williamsport Country Club, forcing disruptions across the field. Muso had to dig deep during a testing opening round that was halted with him sitting at four-over par through 16 holes.
The Bermudian recovered impressively upon the resumption, rolling in a clutch birdie on the par-four 18th to sign for a three-over-par 74. His eventful opening card was a genuine rollercoaster, featuring two birdies, a solitary bogey and a costly quadruple-bogey.
Muso settled into a stronger rhythm in round two, firing an improved one-over-par 72 to climb up the leaderboard. He produced an aggressive display that yielded four birdies, offset by five bogeys and nine pars, to cement a four-over-par tournament total and earn a well-deserved tie for 10th.
