Jai Bean struck a superb hat-trick as North Village Rams delivered an emphatic 5-1 rout of St. George’s Colts, while Dandy Town Hornets overcame Somerset Trojans 3-1 in an entertaining Dudley Eve Trophy double-header at Devonshire Recreation Club.

In the opening clash of the evening, Dandy Town showed their clinical edge in the second half to see off Somerset after an absorbing battle.
Following a scoreless first 45 minutes, Tomiko Goater broke the deadlock for the Hornets in the 52nd minute. Somerset responded almost immediately, restoring parity three minutes later courtesy of a 55th-minute effort from Kymani McNeil.
Town took control in the final quarter, however, spearheaded by David Jones. The forward restored his side's advantage in the 67th minute before putting the result beyond doubt with his second of the evening 10 minutes from time.

The late game belonged entirely to North Village, who dismantled St. George’s with a blistering attacking display.
Remi Coddington set the tone by opening the scoring on 20 minutes, before Bean took over proceedings with two quickfire strikes in the 25th and 26th minutes to leave the Colts reeling at 3-0 by the break.
Village picked up where they left off in the second half. Owen Botelho made it four in the 56th minute, and Bean completed his treble with a tidy 70th-minute finish to stretch the margin to five.
Jahkai Brangman pulled a goal back for St. George’s in the 77th minute, but it proved mere consolation on a thoroughly dominant night for the Rams.
