Eckerd College concluded their campaign at the SAISA Open Top 9 regatta with a hard-earned fourth-place finish overall following the final day of racing, hosted by the College of Charleston.
Taking to the water in the competitive 420 class, the Tritons battled challenging conditions across both divisions to tally a combined total of 238 points.
PJ Rodrigues led the charge in the B Division alongside crew William Alvarado. The tandem produced a series of determined, consistent performances in testing sea conditions, guiding their boat into fifth place with 103 points to anchor the team's weekend effort.
In the A Division, Jordan Vieira partnered with crew Avery Guck to navigate a fiercely contested fleet, wrapping up their regatta in 11th position on 135 points.
The collective 238-point haul capped a positive regatta for Eckerd, leaving them fourth overall in the final standings.
