Bermudian midfielder Kai Sampson has signed with Málaga Juniors B for the 2026/27 campaign.
The young playmaker, who previously honed his craft at the Steven Gerrard Academy in England, moves into the Spanish outfit's competitive youth setup following a standout debut year in Andalusia.
Sampson featured last season for Málaga Fundación, playing an integral role in their promotion-winning run. His displays have earned him a step up into Málaga’s structured development pipeline, marking his first incorporation into a professional club system.
The senior side currently compete in Spain's top flight, providing an ambitious benchmark for the club’s rising talent.
Spanish Soccer Trials, who have worked closely with Sampson throughout his transition to European football, confirmed the deal via social media:
"We are delighted to announce that Bermudian midfielder Kai Sampson has signed with Málaga Juniors B for the 2026/27 season.
"Kai returns for his second year in Spain having represented Málaga Fundación last season, where he was part of a promotion-winning campaign.
"He now takes the next step, joining Málaga Juniors B and incorporating into a professional club structure for the first time.
"A technically gifted midfielder with a strong season already behind him in Spain, Kai arrives at Málaga Juniors B looking to build on that foundation and continue his development within the Spanish league system.
"We are delighted to be working with Kai again and look forward to following his progress this season."
Sampson will aim to establish regular minutes in the junior division over the coming weeks as he continues to carve out a path through Spain's competitive league pyramid.
