Dale Brangman and crew Dayon Brangman produced a masterclass in consistency to capture the Kacy Simons Memorial Regatta off the Mid Atlantic Boat Club.
A competitive fleet of seven boats took to the startline, but it was the Brangman combination who dictated terms across the four-race series, showcasing superior boat handling and tactical awareness in the testing waters.
The duo secured the regatta title with a low tally of four points, never finishing outside the top two after registering a pair of victories alongside two solid second-place finishes.
Alan Frith and crew TJ Howard proved their fiercest challengers, pushing the eventual winners all the way to finish as runners-up on six points. Frith also claimed two race wins during the day, but a pair of fourth-place finishes ultimately cost them a shot at overall honours.
The podium was completed by Geovanni Hayward and Eli Furbert, who edged out the rest of the chasing fleet to take third overall on eight points. Despite suffering a setback with a seventh-place finish, Hayward responded with a second and two third-place finishes to secure the final podium spot.
