Amateur Virgilio Paz produced a breathtaking final-round eight-under-par 63 to complete a dramatic comeback and claim the 2026 Goslings Bermuda Open title at Port Royal Golf Course.
Taking full advantage of calm, sun-drenched conditions on the Southampton layout, the young Venezuelan delivered an immaculate bogey-free display featuring eight birdies and 10 pars. Paz vaulted to the top of the leaderboard to seal the championship at 15 under par.
Overnight leader Nathan Petronzio, who had commanded the tournament through the opening 36 holes, had to settle for the runner-up spot just one stroke behind at 14 under. The American professional signed for a three-under 68 comprising five birdies, 11 pars, and two dropped shots, narrowly falling short as Paz mounted his charge.
David Pastore secured third place at 12 under par after carding an impressive, unblemished final round of six-under 65, highlighted by six birdies and 12 pars.
Peter Bradbeer and Benjamin Martin finished in a share of fourth on 10 under par. Bradbeer's eventful closing 68 included seven birdies, seven pars, and four bogeys, while Martin climbed the order with a five-under 66 featuring an eagle, four birdies, 12 pars, and a lone bogey.
Will Haddrell finished as the leading Bermudian in the field, ending the week inside the top 10 in ninth place at two over par. Haddrell closed out his tournament on a high note, rolling in five birdies against 10 pars and three bogeys to sign for a two-under 69.
