Oliver Brunnock produced a commanding display to seal victory as the Bermuda Triathlon Association’s Tri-A-Tri Series reached its conclusion at Clearwater Beach.
Brunnock set the benchmark with an impressive time of 23 minutes and 10 seconds, finishing comfortably clear of his nearest challengers across the swim, bike, and run course.
Ian Henderson crossed the line in 26:53 to claim second place, while Jake Smith rounded out the overall podium in 27:54.
In the women’s field, Judith Tucker delivered a standout performance, posting a swift 27:50, while Hannah Cannon broke the 30-minute barrier with a determined 30:02 clocking.
The closing event saw competitive racing across the age groups, with several athletes separated by mere seconds:
Top-Five Chase: Mathew Smith (29:20) narrowly edged out Arthur Wightman (29:22) by just two seconds in a thrilling sprint for fourth overall.
Sub-30 Pack: Seamus Durkin (29:37) and Vaughn Rowse (29:46) both executed strong pacing to finish well within the 30-minute mark.
Family Contests: The Davidge family made a strong showing, with Ronan Davidge (32:42) leading Elliott (34:12), Esme (34:19), and Ryan (36:33).
Tandem Finish: Jessie and Spencer Halderman crossed the line together in 40:34 to conclude the series.
