At Lord's in St David's, Warwick Workmen's Club produced a blistering batting display to defeat St David's Cricket Club by 105 runs.
Warwick piled on a mammoth 391 for 3 in their 50 overs, led by an extraordinary innings from Alex Brown. The opener hammered an unbeaten 203 off 149 deliveries, an innings laced with 21 boundaries and seven sixes.
He was ably supported by Luke Horan, who compiled a brisk 107 from 97 balls (seven fours, four sixes) to take the game well out of reach. Naquan Smith picked up 1 for 29 for the hosts.
In reply, St David's mounted a spirited chase but were restricted to 286 for 9:
Brian Hall top-scored with a dynamic 86 from 67 balls, clearing the ropes seven times, Derrick Brangman provided rapid acceleration, striking 57 off just 41 balls with five sixes. Seth Campbell anchored the Warwick bowling attack, claiming 4 for 48 from his 9.3 overs to seal the 105-run win.
At the Wellington Oval, St George's Cricket Club wrapped up a comprehensive 10-wicket victory over Willow Cuts in rapid time.
Willow Cuts were bundled out for just 43 in a one-sided affair, with Shaquille Bean offering the only double-figure score on 12. Rahul Sampra was the destroyer-in-chief for St George's, dismantling the batting order with figures of 5 for 10 from 5.5 overs.
St. George's wasted no time in the chase, racing to 44 without loss in just 2.5 overs. Zachary Edmund led the charge, blasting an unbeaten 35 to complete the shutout.
In First Division action at White Hill Field, PHC secured a 65-run victory over Somerset Bridge Recreation Club.
Batting first, PHC posted 252 for 8 from their 50 overs courtesy of major contributions from Charles Trott (80 off 72 balls, featuring eight sixes) and Davin Dill (74 off 103 deliveries). Joshua Gilbert was the standout with the ball for Somerset Bridge, taking 3 for 48 across his 10 overs.
Somerset Bridge's reply fell short on 187 for 8. Despite Gilbert completing a fine individual performance with a team-high 67 from 70 balls, Trott capped a player-of-the-match display with the ball, claiming 3 for 21 in 7.5 overs to guide PHC home.
