In the Under-12 Junior Junior County final, Cleveland County held their nerve in a tightly contested chase to claim victory by six wickets.
Bailey's Bay set a competitive target after batting first, posting 75 before being restricted by a tight Cleveland attack. In response, Cleveland showed great composure under pressure, reaching 76/4 to seal the championship.
Under-16s Secure Double with Comprehensive St David's Win
Cleveland's Under-16 side completed the double with a clinical all-round performance against hosts St David’s in the Junior Eastern Counties clash.
Batting first, Cleveland built a solid total of 128 to put scoreboard pressure on the hosts. St David’s struggled to find momentum in their reply against a relentless bowling unit and were bowled out for 76, handing Cleveland a convincing 52-run victory.
