Bermuda international Okera Bascome and Coventry & North Warwickshire CC secured a commanding seven-wicket victory over Leamington CC in the Warwickshire County Cricket League Premier Division at Binley Road.
Bowling first, Coventry & North Warwickshire produced a disciplined fielding display to dismiss the visitors for 200.
Jacob Sargeant led the resistance for Leamington with a determined knock of 76, but George Neal spearheaded the home attack to great effect, claiming 4-33 from his 10 overs to keep the target within manageable reach.
In response, the hosts made light work of the chase, reaching 204-3 to seal a comfortable win.
Sunair Siddique Khan anchored the innings with a match-winning 77 at the top of the order. Despite Bascome falling without scoring, Coventry & North Warwickshire maintained control throughout the innings. Harry Thompson proved to be the pick of the Leamington attack with figures of 2-48 from his 10 overs, but could not halt the hosts' charge to maximum points.
