Defending champions Bailey’s Bay have officially selected their squad for the second round of the Eastern County Cup, as they prepare to defend their title against challengers Flatt’s Victoria at Lord’s in St David’s.
The cup holders will once again be captained by top-order batsman Terryn Fray, whose brilliant century in the opening round paved the way for Bay’s decisive victory over Cleveland County. Experienced all-rounder Dennico Hollis has been named vice-captain to support Fray’s leadership on the field.
Bay enter Saturday’s clash as firm favourites, boasting a well-drilled unit that includes Lazai Outerbridge, a Colt combining potent seam bowling, spin depth, and an explosive middle order.
However, with Flatt’s Victoria naming a strong side featuring former Bermuda international Kamau Leverock, Fray’s men will be acutely aware of the threat posed by the challengers as they aim to retain the historic trophy and advance to the final round of the series.
