Emma Harvey secured another Commonwealth Games semi-final appearance after progressing through the heats of the women's 50m backstroke before concluding her campaign later in the evening.
The Bermudian swimmer qualified from Heat Four, touching the wall in 29.20 seconds to finish fifth and book her place in the semi-finals.
Harvey returned to the pool for the opening semi-final, where she produced another strong swim, improving her time to 29.13 seconds.
Despite lowering her heat time, Harvey finished seventh in the race, placing 14th overall and narrowly missing out on a place in the final.
The performance added another solid display to Harvey's Commonwealth Games campaign, with the Bermudian once again demonstrating her consistency on the international stage against a high-quality field.
Although her run ended in the semi-finals, Harvey's ability to improve on her morning swim highlighted her competitive form as Bermuda's swimmers continued their campaign at the Games.
