Bermuda Crush Panama to in Second 10-Wicket Win

Panama 69 Bermuda 73/0

Bermuda made it two wins from two in spectacular fashion at the ICC Men's T20 World Cup Americas Sub-Regional Qualifiers, demolishing Panama by 10 wickets at the National Sports Center North Field.

The clinical victory mirrors their opening-round performance, marking a second consecutive ten-wicket demolition as the host nation lays down a devastating marker in the tournament.

After winning the toss and electing to bat, Panama’s decision quickly backfired in the face of a relentless Bermudian bowling attack. The visitors were bundled out for a meager 69 runs, failing to handle the suffocating accuracy of the home spinners.

Derrick Brangman was the destructor-in-chief, tearing through the batting lineup to return phenomenal figures of 3 wickets for just 9 runs off his three overs.

He was expertly mirrored at the other end by Dominic Sabir, who kept the pressure vice-like with an equally ruthless spell of 3 for 10. Only Panama's Parth Jayeshbhai Patel offered any prolonged resistance, grafting his way to a top score of 22 before the collapse was finalized.

If the bowling performance was disciplined, the run chase was pure, unadulterated carnage.

Bermuda needed just 27 deliveries to obliterate the target, blasting their way to 73 without loss in a staggering 4.3 overs to wrap up the contest before the fans had even settled into their seats.

Delray Rawlins played a blistering, box-office innings, hammering a sensational half-century off a mere 17 balls. His brutal assault included three boundaries and six massive maximums.

Not to be outdone, his opening partner Onias Bascome joined the fireworks, scoring a rapid-fire 21 from 10 balls—clearing the ropes three times himself—to seal a flawless, high-octane victory that sends Bermuda clear at the top of the standings.
