Former Ipswich Town midfielder Reggie Lambe has completed a move to Suffolk non-league side Ipswich Wanderers following his departure from Needham Market.
The 35-year-old former Bermuda international links up with the Step Five outfit for the 2026/27 campaign after the Marketmen opted not to retain his services at Bloomfields.
Lambe’s move brings the curtains down on a two-year stint with Needham Market. The experienced playmaker originally arrived at the club from Braintree Town in September 2024 and quickly established himself as a reliable asset in the engine room.
Despite operating as a regular fixture for the Southern League Premier Division Central side, Lambe was among the players released at the end of the season as the club reshapes its squad for the upcoming year.
Wanderers represent yet another stop in Suffolk non-league football for Lambe, who has built an esteemed reputation as an impactful veteran in the region.
The midfielder has previously enjoyed highly successful stints with both Stowmarket Town and AFC Sudbury, playing an instrumental role in guiding both clubs to promotion.
Lambe originally broke onto the professional scene through the youth academy at Portman Road, making six senior appearances for Ipswich Town. He went on to enjoy a diverse global career with spells at Toronto FC in Major League Soccer and Nyköpings BIS in Sweden, alongside established English Football League runs at Mansfield Town, Carlisle United, and Cambridge United.
Wanderers will now hope Lambe’s extensive professional pedigree and localized promotion expertise can spark a successful campaign at Humber Doucy Lane.
