Madisyn Bobb and her University of Maryland Baltimore College Indoor Track & Field teammates kicked off their season at the Youree Spence Garcia Invite, where Bobb put in a strong performance to win her heat and finish among the top runners in the Women’s 300-meter Dash.
Bobb competed in the Women’s 300-meter Dash at the Ocean Breeze Athletic Complex. The UMBC athlete showcased her early-season speed by winning Heat Two.
Bobb clocked a time of 40.10 seconds, a strong showing that saw her finish 7th overall out of the 38 competitors in the event.
This result sets a positive tone for Bobb and the Retrievers as they enter the 2025-26 indoor season, aiming to meet the high expectations set by the recent America East preseason poll.
