Bortoli & Robinson Lead the Charge at Creighton Memorial

The Bermuda National Athletics Association (BNAA) continued its competitive Cross Country Series with the challenging Nakeno Creighton Memorial Cross-Country event, held within the historic Government House Grounds.
The day featured strong performances across the junior divisions, with several athletes demonstrating impressive stamina and speed over the demanding courses.
In the Boys 14-16 Division race, which covered a distance of 3.15 miles, Gianluca Bortoli delivered a commanding performance to secure the victory. Bortoli clocked a blistering time of 16 minutes, 36.68 seconds (16:36.68). He finished well clear of the competition, with Sanchez Smith taking second place in 16:57.27, and Tobiah Goodchild rounding out the podium in 19:43.46.
The female junior events saw similar displays of excellence, with Riana Robinson winning the Girls 14-16 Division race, completing the 3.15 miles in 22:14.94. She was followed by Azari Jones in second (23:47.62) and Kelise Wade in third (23:59.03).
Jaeda Grant secured the title in the Girls 17-19 Division over the same 3.15-mile distance, clocking a winning time of 22:55.46.
In the senior ranks, Kallan Richardson claimed the victory in the Men’s 20-39 Division. Competing over the longer distance of 4.20 miles, Richardson crossed the finish line with a time of 22:23.36.
The event marks another successful round in the BNAA Cross Country Series, providing crucial competition for runners across multiple age groups.
