The official Bermuda Road Running season is set to begin on Monday, September 1st, with the Swans Labour Day 5K Road Race. The traditional season opener will see a wide range of competitors take to the streets of Hamilton.
The event caters to all age groups, with the junior races starting the day's proceedings. Young athletes will compete over a distance of 2.65K (1.65 miles) in three categories: 8-10, 11-12, and 13-15.
The main 5K Road Race will follow, featuring several age groups, from Juniors 19 and under to Super Veterans 70 and over. The race is a key fixture in the running calendar and offers a competitive start to the new season for runners across all levels and ages.
