 A total of $12,700 has been spent in the Bermuda Football Association’s (BFA) Premier and First Division transfer window, with a total of 127 players switching clubs. The total expenditure is set to rise, with the BFA announcing that there are still a number of pending requests currently under review.
The defending league champions, North Village Rams, have been among the busiest, strengthening their squad with a host of new signings. The Rams have secured the signatures of Che’Kai Caisey and Manoj Paynter from Devonshire Cougars, and Kiuno Cann from Devonshire Colts. Also joining the club are Pierre Smith, who has returned from Young Men Social Club, and St. George's Colts duo Jaryd Richardson and Tah-Ki Tucker. Quinn Outerbridge and Torque Outerbridge have also made the move to the Rams from Hamilton Parish and Wolves, respectively, while Jakeem Jennings arrives from the Southampton Rangers.
Elsewhere in the Premier Division, a number of clubs have seen a significant number of players depart. St. George’s Colts have had 12 players leave the club, while Dandy Town Hornets have seen 10 players depart, while relegated Hamilton Parish has lost the services of some 16 players. The transfer window's first release period ran from May 1st to July 15th, with a total of 50 players moving in the Premier Division and 77 in the First Division.
