Bermuda's two powerboat teams have wrapped up their weekend of racing in Michigan City, with a strong finish from one of the island's entries in a highly competitive SuperStock Class.
The final day of racing saw a packed field of 14 boats on the start line. S-25 GL Construction / S-25 Team Bermuda, crewed by David Selley and Steven Bridges, put in a solid and consistent performance to secure a respectable fourth-place finish. The result is a testament to the team's skill and determination in a class where the margins for error are minimal.
Meanwhile, S-12 NUFF SAID / Team Bermuda, with Luis Martins and Andy Stoneham at the helm, faced a tougher challenge on the day, finishing in 12th place.
The event marks an exciting return to action for Race World Offshore in Michigan City, and the Bermudian teams will now look to carry their momentum into the next events on the offshore powerboat racing calendar.
