BCB Announce Under 19 National Team

The Bermuda Cricket Board announced the Under-19 National Cricket Team that will represent the island on the international stage as they travel to Atlanta, Georgia from August 7th to August 17th to compete in the ICC U19 Americas Region World Cup Qualifier.

Six players who featured in the recent Annual Cup Match Classic Luke Fulton, Luke Horan, Keegan Jones, Callum McIntosh, Isaiah O'Brien, and captain Zeri Tomlinson have all been named in the squad, bringing a wealth of experience from the island's most prestigious cricket event.

The selections highlight the strong pipeline of talent emerging from Bermuda's youth system, with the Cup Match Classic providing a high-pressure platform for these young players to showcase their abilities.

This prestigious tournament serves as the official qualifying event for the 2026 ICC U19 Men’s Cricket World Cup, providing Bermuda’s rising stars with an opportunity to showcase their talent, discipline, and determination against top youth teams from across the Americas.

The squad will be led by captain Zeri Tomlinson, whose calm demeanor, sharp cricketing mind, and leadership have been instrumental throughout the team's preparation. He will play a key role in steering the squad through the high-pressure environment of international competition.

Lloyd Smith, President of the Bermuda Cricket Board, expressed his enthusiasm for the team’s journey, "We are incredibly proud of our Under-19 National team as they embark on this vital mission to Atlanta. This tournament represents not only an opportunity for them to showcase their skills on an international stage but also a chance to gain invaluable experience that will shape their future in sport. I'm encouraging all citizens to send their positive energy and support to our national team as they strive for World Cup qualification."

Head Coach Clay Smith also shared his confidence in the team’s preparation, “The preparation has been excellent. The kids have been very enthusiastic and energetic for this experience,” said Smith. “The team has a good variety of bowlers, and we have some senior players who will be key to our success.

The coaching staff accompanying the team consists of Head Coach Clay Smith, Assistant Coach Reginald (Reggie) Tucker Jr, Manager Michael Terry Thomas, as well as Cricket West Indies Consultant Andre Coley.

The Under 19 National team includes the following members:
