The roar of engines returned to Ferry Reach as the Bermuda Powerboat Association hosted its latest round of racing, marking a return to the familiar waters after previous events in Hamilton Harbour and off Cross Island in Dockyard. Two thrilling races unfolded, with the start and finish lines positioned along the scenic Ferry Reach stretch.
A competitive fleet of nine boats took to the water, providing an exciting spectacle for onlookers. The day's racing saw dominant performances across all classes, with each division producing double winners who swept both heats.
In the A Class, the formidable duo of Chris Marshall and Jacari Marshall proved untouchable, securing victories in both races to claim a comprehensive double win. Their consistent speed and precision set them apart from the competition.
The B Class also witnessed a clean sweep, as David Willoughby and Kelsey Durham navigated their way to victory in both of their races, showcasing their skill and teamwork on the water.
Finally, in the D Class, Andrew Cottingham and Henry Talbot demonstrated their supremacy, powering their way to win both races in their category, completing a day of double triumphs across the board.
