Fresh from his recent exploits at the Island Games, Palanyandi carried his impressive form onto the Belmont Hills course, delivering an outstanding round that saw him run away with the win. His composed and consistent play throughout the day made him the undisputed standout.
Palanyandi carded an exceptional 2-under par 68, a score that not only earned him a solo victory but also secured a valuable 500 Order of Merit points, significantly boosting his standing on the tour. His ability to navigate the challenging Belmont Hills layout with such precision underscored his current prowess.
Trailing Palanyandi, Chris Smith put in a solid effort to finish in second place, carding an even-par 70. Veteran golfer Dwayne Pearman demonstrated his enduring class, securing third position with a respectable 1-over par 71.
