Golfer Daniel Augustus has just missed out on making the cut at the Clutch Tour's Marrakech Masters, held at the South Staffs Golf Course. Despite a significantly improved performance in his second round, his overall score wasn't quite enough to advance to the weekend.
Augustus carded a commendable 1-under par 71 in his second round, a notable improvement from his opening 74. This brought his two-round total to 1-over par. His second round featured a more consistent display, including 3 birdies, 13 pars, and just 2 bogeys.
However, with the projected cut line for the tournament sitting at a challenging 2-under par, Augustus's 1-over total left him just outside the qualifying mark. While undoubtedly disappointed not to progress, his strong second-round showing highlights his potential and the valuable experience gained on Europe's leading developmental tour. He will now look to build on this improved form in his next Clutch Tour event.
