Bermudian golfer Daniel Augustus has begun his campaign at the Clutch Tour's Marrakech Masters, taking to the South Staffs Golf Course for his first round. He faces a significant challenge to make the cut after carding a 2-over par 74.
Augustus concluded his opening round tied for 96th, with a projected cut line currently sitting at 2-under par. This means the Bermudian has his work cut out for him in the second round if he is to progress.
His round consisted of a mixed bag of results: 3 birdies and 10 pars were offset by 5 bogeys, preventing him from gaining momentum on the scoreboard.
Augustus will need a strong performance in his second round to climb the leaderboard and ensure his participation in the later stages of the Marrakech Masters.
