IslandStats.com
As the Bermuda cricket season continues to deliver compelling action across the Western County Cup, Premier, and First Division 50-over matches, and with Bermudian players shining overseas, www.islandstats.com takes a look at the standout individual performances from the past weekend.

Batting Brilliance

The undoubted batting star of the weekend was Dennico Hollis, who lit up the Scottish club scene with a magnificent 126 not out for Stenhousemuir's second team, The Tryst. Hollis's explosive innings came off just 89 balls and included a remarkable 19 fours and 1 six, leading his side to a dramatic victory.

Back on home soil in the Premier Division, Warwick Workmen's Club celebrated two centurions in their dominant win over Somerset Cricket Club. Zeri Tomlinson powered his way to 102, while Kamau Leverock also reached the magical three-figure mark with a superb 100, both innings showcasing powerful hitting.

Bowling Masterclasses

In the bowling department, Dion Stovell of the Southampton Rangers produced a sensational spell in the First Division. Stovell was the weekend's top bowler, dismantling PHC with astonishing figures of 5 wickets for just 3 runs from 5 overs, including three maidens, leading his team to a comprehensive victory.

In the Western County Cup, Allan Douglas of Somerset Bridge delivered a match-winning performance against Willow Cuts. Douglas's crucial bowling figures of 4 wickets for 9 runs from 6.4 overs were instrumental in dethroning the cup holders.

Rounding out the top bowling displays, Luke Horan, representing the St. George's Cricket Club Light Blue in a Cup Match Trial, put in a strong claim for selection with impressive figures of 4 wickets for 11 runs from 9 overs, including three maidens, showcasing his control and penetration.

These individual heroics underscore the talent on display in Bermudian cricket, both at home and abroad, promising more exciting action as the season progresses.
