PREMIER DIVISION

St. David's Cricket Club Won by 1 Wicket

At Lord's in St. David's, the fierce Eastern County rivalry delivered a low-scoring thriller that went down to the wire. St. David's Cricket Club emerged victorious by just 1 wicket against Bailey's Bay.

Bailey's Bay, after winning the toss and electing to bat, were bowled out for 129. Coolidge Durham top-scored with 48. Justin Pitcher was the pick of the St. David's bowlers, claiming 3 wickets for 29 runs from 9.1 overs.

In reply, St. David's scraped to 133 for 9, with captain Derrick Brangman playing a heroic unbeaten innings of 38. He forged two crucial late partnerships, a 45-run stand with Justin Pitcher and a 27-run stand with Aaron Paynter, to guide his side home. Antonio Darrell was the most effective bowler for Somerset, taking 4 wickets for 82 runs.
