Cameron De Ste Croix and Stepanka Sprincova have been crowned the 2025 Powerade 5K Run Male and Female Champions respectively, following a challenging road race through the parish of Devonshire.
The course, known for its undulating terrain and scenic route, saw competitors start at B&V Orange Valley, navigating a loop that included turns onto Middle Road, Parsons Lane, Orange Valley Road, Palmetto Road, and Frog Lane, before returning to the finish line on Orange Valley.
In the men's race, Cameron De Ste Croix delivered a strong performance, crossing the line first in 18 minutes and 30 seconds. He was followed by Dustin Luck, who secured second place with a time of 19 minutes and 15 seconds. John Carreiro rounded out the male podium, finishing third in 19 minutes and 43 seconds.
The women's title went to Stepanka Sprincova, who finished as the sixth runner overall, clocking a winning time of 20 minutes and 54 seconds. The second female finisher was Dm Salter, who crossed the line 16th overall in 23 minutes and 14 seconds. Laura Knox-Clingerman secured the third spot on the female podium, finishing just behind in 23 minutes and 45 seconds.
The event marked another successful outing for local runners on Bermuda's road race calendar, with strong performances across the board.
