After a day of thrilling races, the point standings are now shaping up dramatically for the final showdown off Dockyard on July 6th.
In the highly competitive A Class Division, the pairing of Shane Madeiros and Joshua Holder in A26 currently lead the pack with a commanding 300 points. Hot on their heels are Chris Marshall and Jacari Marshall in A5, sitting second with 270 points, setting up a tantalizing battle for the championship.
The B Class Division sees Steven Meireles and Aaron Daniel in B96 at the forefront, accumulating 280 points. Brandon DeSilva and Blake Burgess in B111 are in close pursuit with 262 points, while Ryan Resendes and Anthony Bailey in B101 are currently third with 230.5 points. Philip Raposo and Ferdinand Arnold in B351 hold 146 points.
In the C Class Division, Jody Carreiro and Tony Carreiro in C77 have opened up a perfect score of 100 points, indicating a dominant performance.
The D Class Division is also tightly contested, with Bobby DeCosta and Francisco DeCosta in D13 leading the way on 252 points. Andrew Cottingham and Henry Talbot III in D007 are close behind with 226.5 points. Howard Ascento and Sadune Raynor in D4 sit on 181 points, followed by Shaki Easton and Jauza James in D10 with 100 points, and Marcus Pimentel and Patrick Stamper in D24 on 90 points.
With one crucial race remaining off Dockyard next weekend, these point standings promise an exhilarating conclusion to the Bermuda Powerboat Association's National Championship Series, where every point will count.
