Central County Cup holders Devonshire Recreation Club have announced significant changes to their squad as they prepare for the Second and Final Round match against Western Stars. The highly anticipated clash is set for Saturday, June 28th, at the Devonshire Recreation Club.
Having decisively defeated North Village in the First Round, the champions have brought in five key players, strengthening their ranks for the decisive encounter. Coming into the squad for the final are captain George O’Brien, all-rounders Onias Bascome, and Derrick Brangman, explosive batsman Allan Douglas Jr, and Isaiah O’Brien adding to Kamau Leverock who scored 79, and Ricardo Brangman who scored 73 in their First Round match.
These five experienced additions will replace Ankoma Cannonier, Ajai Daniels, Christopher Daile, Orlando Maulseed, and Trey Tucker from the previous round. The inclusion of these seasoned players, many of whom have represented Bermuda on the international stage and featured in the prestigious Cup Match Classic, signals Devonshire Recreation Club's intent to defend their title with their strongest possible lineup.
