The Bermuda Football Association (BFA) expressed its deepest sympathies and heartfelt condolences to the families and friends on the recent passing of two cherished figures in Bermudian football, Ralph Bean and Kenneth Perinchief.
Ralph Bean, a true icon of the sport, was deservingly recognised as a BFA Legend in 2017. His profound passion and unwavering dedication left an enduring legacy that touched many lives within our football community.
Kenneth Perinchief, a highly respected referee and former executive of the BFA, was a distinguished recipient of the BFA Order of Merit in 2019. He was widely admired for his steadfast commitment to fair play and his pivotal role in upholding the integrity of the game across our island.
The Bermuda Football Association is deeply saddened by the loss of Ralph Bean and Kenneth Perinchief," said BFA President Mark Wade. "Both gentlemen were true pillars of our football community, and their contributions, both on and off the field, will be remembered and cherished.”
As a symbol of our most profound respect and in honour of their indelible contributions to Bermudian football, the Bermuda Football Association will be changing its official logo to black across all platforms.
