The Bermuda Cricket Board's T20 Knock-Out Cup roared into action across the island today, Sunday, May 25th, delivering a day of explosive hitting and tight bowling performances in both the Premier and First Divisions. Here's a round-up of the thrilling encounters.

Premier Division:

At Lord's in St. David's, Bailey's Bay secured a 19-run victory over the home side. Bailey's Bay, electing to bat, posted a formidable 185/3, spearheaded by a blistering 83 off just 39 balls from Delray Rawlins, who smashed seven sixes. Aaron Paynter took the sole wicket for St. David's. In reply, St. David's Cricket Club fought hard but ultimately fell short at 166/7, despite Derrick Brangman's 46. Kyle Hodsoll was the pick of the Bailey's Bay bowlers, claiming four wickets.

Somerset Cricket Club played host to a high-scoring affair but ultimately fell to St. George’s Cricket Club by 42 runs. St. George's, after being put in to bat, amassed an impressive 204/4, built around a scintillating 71 off 31 balls from Zeko Burgess, including seven sixes. He shared a 127-run partnership with Jonte Smith, who remained unbeaten on 52. Dominic Sabir took two wickets for Somerset. In reply, Somerset Cricket Club could only manage 160/8, despite a valiant 76 from Domonic Sabir. Isaiah Greaves took two wickets for St. George's.

Devonshire Recreation Club secured a comfortable 35-run victory over Cleveland County at the Southampton Oval. Devonshire posted 120/8 after electing to bat, with Drewonde Bascome top-scoring with 35. Amari Davis took two wickets for Cleveland County. In reply, Cleveland County were bowled out for just 85, with Mackih Mcgowan's 13 the highest score. George O'Brien was the standout bowler for Devonshire, taking three wickets for just seven runs.

First Division:

Southampton Rangers delivered a dominant performance, defeating Willow Cuts by 83 runs at the Southampton Oval. Rangers posted a strong 154/8 after winning the toss and electing to bat, with Oronde Bascome leading the way with 65. Kwasi James took three wickets for Willow Cuts. In reply, Willow Cuts were bundled out for a mere 71, with Dwight Basden's 33 the top score. Darrien Gibbons was the star with the ball for the Rangers, taking five wickets for just four runs.

Warwick Workmen’s Club secured a convincing 73-run victory over Somerset Bridge at Lord's in St. David's. Warwick posted 152/4 after electing to bat, with Zeri Tomlinson scoring 65 and sharing a century partnership with Kamau Leverock, who added 62. Shawn Riley took two wickets for Somerset Bridge. In reply, Somerset Bridge struggled, reaching just 79/9. Jalani Richardson was the pick of the Warwick bowlers, taking four wickets.

Western Stars claimed a 21-run victory over PHC at the Somerset Cricket Club. Western Stars were bowled out for 130, with Jamori Manders top-scoring with 38. Koshun Durrant took three wickets for PHC. In reply, PHC could only manage 109/8, despite Ori Wilson's 29. Seth Campbell was the standout bowler for Western Stars, taking three wickets.

The T20 Knock-Out Cup action provided a day of thrilling cricket, with some dominant performances and others hard-fought victories, setting the stage for the next round of the competition.
