Cameron Adkins, representing Christ School, competed in the NCISAA Division I State Championship Meet, hosted by Charlotte Country Day School. Adkins showcased his endurance and determination across two distance running events.
In the Boys 1600 Meter Run Finals, Adkins finished in 14th place, clocking a time of 4 minutes and 27.70 seconds. Later in the meet, Adkins took to the track for the Boys 3200 Meter Run Finals. In this longer event, he delivered a strong performance, finishing in 12th place and setting a new personal best time of 9 minutes and 40.21 seconds.
Competing at the NCISAA Division I State Championship Meet against some of the top high school athletes in North Carolina provides valuable experience for Adkins. His personal best in the 3200 meters highlights his continued progress and dedication to distance running.
