Massassi Maxwell-Smith represented the Coker University Track and Field team at the South Atlantic Conference Championship, held at the Lenoir-Rhyne University Track in Hickory, North Carolina.
Maxwell-Smith competed in the Women's Long Jump event, facing a competitive field from across the conference. Her best leap of the competition measured 5.13 metres, which is equivalent to 16 feet and 10 inches. This effort placed Maxwell-Smith in 17th position overall in the event.
Competing at the South Atlantic Conference Championship provides a valuable platform for Maxwell-Smith to test her skills against some of the top collegiate athletes in the region. The experience gained at this level of competition will undoubtedly contribute to her continued development in the Long Jump.
