Race World Offshore announces the cancellation of the Truman Waterfront Cup, the Wednesday race of the Key West World Championships, originally scheduled for November 6th in Key West, Florida.
Two Bermuda crews, Nuff Said Bermuda | S-12 (Luis Martin, driver; Andy Stoneham, throttleman) and Team Bermuda | S-25 (David Selley, driver; Steven Bridges, throttleman), were set to be on the startline.
This decision comes in response to an impending Tropical Storm forecasted to move into the Gulf of Mexico.
FRIDAY AND SUNDAY – STILL ON
While the Truman Waterfront Cup has been canceled to ensure the safety of the participants, staff, and attendees, the Key West World Championships will continue as planned, with races on Friday and Sunday still scheduled.
