Another window of matches from the Road to W Gold Cup is set to take place next week, with many notable statistics both at the individual and team levels across all three leagues.
To date, a total of 56 matches have been played over the course of the September and October windows, with 216 goals scored for an average of 3.9 goals per match and 500 saves made by goalkeepers.
Among the milestone goals was Eva Frazzoni of Bermuda scoring the 100th goal in a September 26th match against Saint Vincent and the Grenadines in League B.
League B has also been dynamic, with Rianna Cyrus of Barbados and Jazmin Jackson of the Dominican Republic standing out with hat-trick performances. Cyrus got hers in a 5-0 win versus Saint Vincent and the Grenadines on September 22nd, while Jackson’s three goals were in an October 27th 8-0 triumph over Saint Vincent and the Grenadines.
In 24 League B matches, 78 goals have been scored, making for an average of 3.3 goals per game. Jackson, along with the El Salvador trio of Danielle Fuentes, Samaria Gomez, and Danya Gutierrez, head up the top scorers in League B with four goals each.
The Dominican Republic and El Salvador are also well-represented on the assists table with Dominican Republic’s Winibian Peralta (3), Kathrynn Gonzalez (2), Lucia Marte (2), and El Salvador’s Victoria Sanchez (2) and Brenda Ceren (2) among the leaders, along with Frazzoni of Bermuda (2).
Goalkeepers have also shined in League B. Nicaragua GK Angela Gutierrez has registered 26 saves, while right behind is Anik Jarvis of Antigua and Barbuda with 24.
Peralta also leads all players in fouls drawn with 12, and while only eight clean sheets have been recorded in League A, a total of 18 clean sheets are in the books in League B.
