 Arnezha Astwood and his University of Nebraska Omaha Men’s Soccer teammates fell 2 - 1 to the #16 Missouri State. Despite putting up a late first half goal to enter the half tied, they were out-played in the second.
The game got off to a slow start as the first action of the game was a shot by Ede Gramberg in the 7th minute. Missouri State got on the board early with a goal in the 15th minute.
In the closing minutes of the half, Junior Casillas netted the University of Nebraska one and only goal with an assist from Abdi Adan.
Missouri State came out of the half strong, not allowing the University of Nebraska a shot until the 54th minute.
After a five substitutions, Missouri State had new fresh faces on the pitch. With a seemly second wind, they scored just 15 seconds later in the 76th minute.
Though a fight till the end, the University of Nebraska fell 2-1 at the end of the 90th minute.
