Newport won the toss and elected to bat, they scored 271/8, Callum Taylor was the top scorer with 93, Scotland was 11 not out when the inning came to an end, he hit 2 fours off the 5 balls he faced. Mathew Fisher was the pick of the Pontarddulais bowlers with figures of 10-2-32-4.
In reply Pontarddulais was bowled out for 158, Fisher was the top scorer with 29, while Mansoor Tariq was the pick of the Newport bowlers with figures of 10-0-39-3, Scotland had a stumping in the match.
